Day 01: Hoi An – Hue ( L ) (Cycle 80 km)
7:30 AM pick up from your hotel - Van/bus takes you out Hoi An, have a little time to warm up your body before pedaling uphill to the peak of Hai Van pass. Then travel by back roads to the ocean, cycling through fishing villages and an ancient burial ground of Hue (called a “ghost city” by the locals), to Hue city. Another option, keep biking on little country roads to Hue city.

Day 02: Hue – Phong Nha Cave (B/L/D) (Cycle 70 km)

Day 03: Phong Nha Cave – Huong Khe (B/L/D) (Cycle 70 km)
Explore Phong Nha Cave in the early morning. Continue riding on the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Huong Khe. Ride nearly 70 km of winding roads up the Truong Son mountain range to Phong Nha. From here, if time permitting–cycle gentle rolling hills to Huong Ke Town.

Day 04: Huong Khe – Vinh City (B/L/D) (Cycle 70 km)
In the morning, ride to Dong Loc, the T-junction, which has become unforgettable memorial history in the country from 1964-to 1972, when soldiers, young volunteers, cadres, and workers guaranteed safe transport to the battlefield. Many people from different localities laid down their lives. In particular, the death of 10 young volunteer girls at Dong Loc T-junction has come to symbolize the patriotism of the era. Now, the Dong Loc T-junction relic has become a commemorative area for the national young volunteer force. In the afternoon, ride to Vinh City.

Day 05: Vinh City – Thai Hoa (B/L/D) (Cycle 70 km)
Today, we have a chance to visit Uncle Ho’s house. Nam Dan district, Kiem Lien village is not only the homeland of Ho Chi Minh but also the hometown of many anti-colonist leaders. Ride on the new Ho Chi Minh highway to Kiem Lien village via Tan Ky and Do Luong. Visit Uncle Ho's house in the afternoon, and have a short drive to Thai Hoa Town. Overnight in Thai Hoa Hotel.

Day 06: Thai Hoa – Ngoc Lac (Cycle 90 km ) ( B/L/D )
Early morning starts to beat the heat of the day. The route takes us away from the river and appears to contour through the same range of mountains that stretch from Thai Hoa to Ngoc Lac on Ho Chi Minh trails. The road gets more beautiful the closer you ride to Ngoc Lac with looming karst limestone cliffs and lush vegetation. The route is tarmac all the way but quite hard riding due to the undulating terrain. We ride for the first time on the newly built two-lane Ho Chi Minh Highway. It hardly warrants two lanes as there is no traffic! The road makes for smooth fast riding, and for those who prefer there is always the old highway dirt and gravel – that weaves around the new highway allowing for plenty of exploring possibilities along the way. Ride to Muc Son, on the banks of River Song Chu. On the outskirts of this small town are the famous Kan Linh historical relics – a pagoda where the first king of the Ly dynasty, Le Thai To, ruled, in 1428. Continue riding on the trail to Yen Cat. The distance covered today is quite long and there will be the chance to transfer some sections by the backup vehicle to rest weary legs. There are fewer villages today as the route cuts through forests and jungle lunch en route. Overnight in Ngoc Lac hotel.

Day 07 : Ngoc Lac – Mai Chau (Cycle 90 km ) ( B , L , D )
Breakfast at the local restaurant and cycle through the village house before setting off along a spectacularly beautiful river valley towards Hoi Xuan along an undulating tarmac road. The road follows the flow of River Song Ma. This is an old supply route of the HCM Trail that fed the main trail with ammunitions during the American War with Vietnam.. just passing scenes of local village life and rice paddies. . Arrive Mai Chau villages and overnight in the homestay of white Thai ethnic.

Day 08 : Mai Chau – Hanoi ( B , L )

Day 9:  Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Ba Be Lake. – 240km  ( B, L, D )

7:30 AM pick you up from hotel to our bike motorbike shop and This great motorcycle tour to the north of Vietnam starts at around 8 AM. We try our best to avoid busy city roads in the morning until Cho Chu town( in Thai Nguyen province) where we have lunch. After lunch, we surely have an enjoyable motorcycle ride to Ba Be because the roads have less traffic and give you a lot of grand mountain views. At about 4 PM. We arrive at Pac Ngoi – a beautiful village of Tay people located peacefully at Ba Be lake’s side.

Dinner and stay with the Tay family.

Ba Bể Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Ba Bể – Ba means “Three”, Bể is from the Tay language word pé, meaning “lake”) is the largest natural lake in Vietnam. It is located in Nam Mẫu commune, Bắc Kạn district, Bắc Kạn Province in the northeastern region of the country.

Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs, which in turn are covered by primary forests. The lake comprises three zones named Pé Lầm, Pé Lù, and Pé Lèng. Three rivers, named Năng, Tả Han, and Nam Cường, are the main inflows of the lake. The Năng river enters the lake through a large waterfall called Đầu Đẳng. In the lake, there are also three islands, named Án Mã, Khẩu Cúm, and Po Gia Mải (literally “Widow’s Island”).
Ba Bể Lake is a featured geographical science and is a biodiversity reservoir. It is a part of the Ba Be National Park.
It is home to a range of animals and plants.

 Day 10: Off-road Motorcycle Tour From Babe Lake  To  Meo Vac.  – 170 km ( B, L, D )

Saying goodbye to the family, we ride on a small road about 40 km before taking a small beautiful trail that goes through the jungle, we ride across some streams, a great day for an off-road ride. Continue to Bao Lac town for lunch then continue to ride up to Meo Vac by taking a scenic route climbs over many Passes where we can enjoy beautiful mountain ranges and the Nho Que river – Just an amazing place to be.  Arrive in Meo Vac by 5.00 PM.

Dinner in town, Homestay.

Meo Vac Towns are located in the heart of the Dong Van Rock Plateau, which was recognized as part of the Global Geo-Park Network in 2009, the Dong Van old quarter is home to age-old and unique architecture near Ha Giang Province’s border with China. Day 11: Meo Vac Motorbike Tour to Ha Giang. –  180km ( B, L, D )

Today’s ride must be the highlight of the trip as we will visit one of the most remote lands in Vietnam where we can see many ethnic groups with their unique cultures and imposing mountains such as Pi Leng Pass – one of the 4 longest and most beautiful passes in North Vietnam, the Rock Plateau, the Vuong palace in Dong Van, The “Heaven Gate” in Quan Ba. This is for sure the best motorbike ride in Vietnam with many interesting and amazing things on every meter of the road.  Arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon.

Ha Giang, 300 km away from Hanoi, is located at the highest latitude in Vietnam. It is surrounded by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. It shares a border with China in the north. Many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, Hmong, Tay, and Nung, live in Ha Giang province Vietnam.

Day 12: Ha Giang Motorbike Tour to Sa Pa. –  240km ( B, L, D )

Today we head straight towards the North-western mountain where the main Fanxipan Mountain range dominates the road until Sapa. The road is very smooth with a good view of green mountains, and rice fields between lovely villages of the hill tribes. After a short break in Lao Cai to see the Chinese border, we will have a very beautiful motorbike tour to Sapa. This motorbike ride is up and up to 1.600 meters above sea level. Arrive in Sapa in the late afternoon.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 :  Sapa Motorcycle Ride to Than Uyen.  – 100km ( B , D )

You are free to explore Sapa until 1.30 PM, check out the hotel and we continue the route to Than Uyen, we will make a splendid climb up from Sapa to the top of the highest road pass in Vietnam (Tram Ton Pass). Crossing into Lai Chau Province at over 2000m above sea level. This is a short motorbike ride but could be the most enjoyable motorbike tour from Sapa. The ride offers you an amazing view of the Hoang Lien mountain ranges for miles and miles. We arrive in Than Uyen by 5.00 PM.

Day 14 : Than Uyen – Mu Cang Chai - Nghia Lo –  165 km  ( B , L, D )

We keep riding up and down into a forested and high mountain region populated by Hmong peoples, We will hike up a very high mountain pass before descending into a mountainous tea-growing region. Soon after we follow along the valley floor covered in a sea of rice surrounded by Hmong and Thai villages to Nghia Lo, lunch on route.

Overnight at home-stay

Day 15 : Nghia Lo  – Hanoi. – 215 km ( B , L )

Getting up for local breakfast and feel the peaceful life of the locals by walking around the valley and then start the motorbike ride back to Hanoi at around. After 2 beautiful mountain passes, a beautiful green tea plantation along the way and we will have lunch in Thanh Son and then join the highway back to Hanoi. We will be back at the hotel before rush hours to end the best motorbike tour in north Vietnam safely. Drop the bike at our bike shop and take a taxi or van to your hotel in Hanoi. End The Tour.
